Direct Support Professional

Full-Time | Monday - Friday | $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Community Workforce Solutions is looking for compassionate, dependable individuals to join our Pathways Adult Day Program as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). In this role, you'll support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they build skills, participate in community activities, develop friendships, and work toward personal goals in a positive and engaging environment.

What You'll Do

Support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a safe, positive, and engaging environment
Lead meaningful activities that promote independence, socialization, and personal growth
Assist participants in working toward individual goals
Provide support in both one-on-one and group settings
Maintain accurate daily documentation
Transport participants safely in a 12-15 passenger van as needed

What We're Looking For

A caring, patient, and dependable individual who enjoys working with people
Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is preferred, but not required
High school diploma or GED
Valid North Carolina driver's license
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 10-25 pounds
Ability to sit, stand, walk, and remain active throughout the day
