Community Workforce Solutions is seeking a reliable, compassionate Transport Driver to safely transport adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to and from our day program. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys flexible part-time hours and wants to make a meaningful impact in the community.
Schedule
Approximately:
7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
2:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Hours may vary slightly based on program needs. This schedule is perfect for someone seeking part-time work that complements other responsibilities.
Safely transport program participants to and from their homes and our day program in a 15-passenger van.
Assist participants with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
Ensure a safe, respectful, and positive environment during transportation.
Follow all traffic laws and agency safety procedures.
Maintain punctuality and clear communication with program staff.
Qualifications
Valid North Carolina Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations or recent accidents).
Minimum age of 25 years.
Ability to confidently operate a 15-passenger van.
Basic smartphone skills (email, navigation, internet use).
Willingness to complete CPR, NCI, and agency-required trainings (provided).
Ability to pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
Compensation
$20.00 per hour
